Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene originally introduced the impeachment resolution. In November, the House moved to send articles of impeachment on Mayorkas to committee. At the time, the House did not vote on the proposal because eight Republicans sided with Democrats to refer it to committee.
Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene presented the resolution. In November, the House decided to recommend articles of impeachment against Mayorkas to the committee. The House did not vote on the proposal, as eight Republicans joined Democrats in referring it to committee.
The resolution failed to clear the House in a 214-216 vote in early February, with four Republicans joining Democrats to torpedo its approval.
Because of the political makeup of the United States Senate, this proposal is certain to die. Because this measure will not pass the Senate, its passing in the Republican-controlled House is a type of political performance art.
Nonetheless, Mayorkas should be impeached for the open borders treachery he has enabled.
Since President Joe Biden’s inauguration in January 2021, the Federation of American Immigration Reform (FAIR) believes that almost 5 million illegal aliens have illegally entered the country. This is an invasion, plain and simple.
The removal of traitors such as Mayorkas from public service is critical. But, more crucially, the America First Right must seize power and implement its immigration limitation program in order to preserve the Historic American Nation from the demographic devastation caused by the existing mass migration status quo.
