The exchange came after the Trump administration revoked White House hard passes for CNN, MSNBC, and Politico — three outlets whose coverage of President Trump runs approximately 92 percent negative, according to the figure Vance cited on camera. The administration's position is straightforward: taxpayer-funded workspace inside the White House is not a constitutional right. It's a privilege extended to outlets that do journalism, not "what is effectively propaganda," as Vance put it.
