Anti-Christian Prosecutors Hit With REAL Justice

The lights finally flickered off in Merrick Garland’s house of horrors — and four of his loyal henchmen just got shown the door.

The Justice Department fired at least four prosecutors from the Civil Rights Division who turned the FACE Act into a cudgel against Christians during the Biden years. These weren’t rogue agents gone off-script. They were operating exactly as designed — weaponizing federal law to jail grandmothers who had the audacity to kneel and pray outside abortion clinics.

Let that sink in. In the United States of America, a 75-year-old woman named Paulette Harlow was convicted of federal conspiracy and FACE Act offenses for peacefully protesting at a DC abortion clinic in 2020. She didn’t throw a punch. She didn’t block an entrance with a chain. She prayed. On her knees. And for that, a Clinton-appointed judge — Colleen Kollar-Kotelly — sentenced her to two years in federal prison.

A Judge Who Mocked a Dying Woman’s Faith

And here’s where it gets truly stomach-turning. Paulette Harlow was in failing health. Her husband stood before Judge Kotelly, begging — literally begging — for mercy, telling the court he feared his wife would die alone behind bars. The judge’s response? She mocked Harlow’s Christian faith and told her to honor the “tenets” of her religion and not die in jail.

Read that again. A federal judge taunted an elderly, ailing woman about her faith while sentencing her for the crime of prayer. If that doesn’t make your blood boil, check your pulse.

Harlow was the tenth defendant sentenced by the Biden regime in connection with that single peaceful protest. Nearly two dozen pro-life activists were charged under the FACE Act for what amounted to a prayer vigil at an abortion clinic in October 2020. The Biden DOJ treated them like domestic terrorists while actual criminals walked free in cities run by progressive DAs who couldn’t find a jail cell with a GPS.

The Swamp Gets a Power Wash

Among those fired Monday was Sanjay Patel, a longtime federal prosecutor in the Civil Rights Division’s criminal section who had already been placed on administrative leave last month. The firings came as Attorney General Pam Bondi’s “weaponization working group” — established in the first days of her tenure — was finalizing a report on how the Biden DOJ twisted the FACE Act into a political weapon.

A Justice Department spokesperson put it plainly:

“The department has terminated the employment of personnel responsible for weaponizing the FACE Act who still remained at the department.”

No bureaucratic hedging. No “reassignment to a different division.” Fired. Gone. Pack your boxes.

Now look — Congress passed the FACE Act back in 1994 to deal with genuine threats and intimidation at reproductive health clinics. Nonviolent, first-time offenses were supposed to be misdemeanors. But Garland’s crew looked at that law and saw an opportunity. They cranked misdemeanor conduct up to federal conspiracy charges and dropped the hammer on people whose worst offense was singing hymns too loudly.

Trump Brought the Bulldozer

Trump didn’t tiptoe around this mess — he sent Bondi in with a wrecking ball and a mandate. The weaponization working group wasn’t formed to write a sternly worded memo that collects dust in a filing cabinet. It was built to find the rot, name it, and rip it out. And that’s exactly what happened.

This is what accountability looks like when the adults are back in charge. Under Biden, the DOJ had become a political enforcement arm — targeting parents at school board meetings, raiding the homes of pro-life activists at dawn with guns drawn, and jailing elderly women for praying. The message was clear: dissent from the progressive orthodoxy, and we’ll find a statute to bury you with.

That era is over. The prosecutors who built their careers persecuting people of faith just learned a lesson they should’ve picked up in law school: the law is a shield, not a sword. And when you swing it at grandmothers on their knees, eventually someone swings back.

Four down. Paulette Harlow is still owed an apology. And somewhere, Judge Kotelly should be reading her own “tenets” — starting with the one about what happens when you mock the faithful and call it justice.
