We’re Making A List” – Dems Threaten Conservatives

The last time a politician started publicly bragging about making lists of political enemies, it didn’t end well for anybody. But here we are in 2026, and a sitting United States congressman just went on cable television and said — with a straight face and a puffed-up chest — that he’s compiling names of people in the Trump administration to “hold accountable” down the road.

Meet Rep. Jason Crow, Democrat from Colorado, a man so blissfully unaware of irony that he could drown in it and still not get wet.

Say the Quiet Part Out Loud

Crow popped up on MSNOW — because of course he did — and delivered what can only be described as a villain monologue from a straight-to-streaming political thriller. When pressed by host Ari Melber about what Democrats planned to do about the DOJ’s alleged “enemies list,” Crow didn’t flinch. He didn’t pivot. He leaned in.

“We are taking names. I’m creating my own lists of people that need to have oversight and accountability. It is so important right now that people understand that if you’re in this administration, and you’re asked to violate the law, or violate your oath, or turn your back on the Constitution, that you will be judged — one way or another, at some point or another.”

Read that again. A Democratic congressman just told the country he’s building a political enemies list — and wrapped it in the language of accountability like a wolf wearing a fleece vest from Patagonia.

The Irony Could Power a Small City

For two straight years, Democrats have accused Donald Trump of running a “revenge tour.” Every cable news panel, every fundraising email, every breathless op-ed — all of it screaming that Trump was the authoritarian threat to democracy. And now? Now Jason Crow is on national television doing his best impression of a guy who just discovered the concept of a grudge list and thinks he invented it.

This is the same Jason Crow who urged military personnel to ignore orders from the Trump administration that he deemed “illegal.” Not a court. Not a judge. Him. A congressman from Colorado decided he got to play commander-in-chief for a day.

And last summer? He called it “dangerous” for Tulsi Gabbard to hold Obama accountable for the Russiagate hoax. Accountability for thee, but never for me — the unofficial motto of the modern Democratic Party.

The Real Power Grab

Let’s strip away the fancy language and talk about what Crow actually said. He told every federal employee in the Trump administration: do what we want, or we’re coming for you later. That’s not oversight. That’s intimidation. That’s a sitting legislator using his platform to threaten civil servants into disobedience — and then keeping receipts for when his team gets back in power.

If a Republican had said this about Obama staffers in 2015, CNN would have run a 72-hour special titled “The Death of Democracy.” Rachel Maddow would’ve needed a fainting couch and smelling salts. But when Crow does it? Ari Melber just nods along like a man watching someone parallel park — mildly impressed, completely unbothered.

Trump Doesn’t Play That Game

Here’s the difference the media will never admit. Trump fights policy battles in the open. He fires people. He reshuffles agencies. He tweets — or truths — at 6 AM so everyone knows exactly where he stands. Love him or hate him, the man doesn’t skulk around building secret dossiers on government workers. He brings a bulldozer to a knife fight and lets everybody watch.

Crow? He’s taking names in the shadows and promising a reckoning “at some point or another.” That’s not leadership. That’s a grudge journal with a congressional seal on it.

Where This Is Headed

Don’t be surprised when this list quietly morphs into subpoena targets, ethics complaints, and career-destroying investigations the moment Democrats sniff even a whiff of power again. That’s the playbook. That’s always been the playbook. Wrap vengeance in the flag, call it “accountability,” and hope nobody notices you’re doing exactly what you accused the other side of doing.

Jason Crow didn’t expose Trump’s authoritarianism on MSNOW. He exposed his own. And the only list Americans should be paying attention to come election day is the one with his name on the ballot — so they can hold him accountable.
