Collin Klaco, 24 years old, dressed up as Mickey Mouse at Disney World. He hugged children for a living. When Polk County deputies arrested him in a child predator sting operation, he had diapers and baby wipes in his possession.
He wasn't the only one.
Sheriff Grady Judd's office announced 31 total arrests in a sweeping Florida human trafficking and child sexual offense sting. Seventeen of those suspects were employees of Disney and Universal theme parks — 13 from Disney Corporation, four from Universal Studios. The Klaco arrest was the detail that made national news, but Judd's operation netted something far bigger than one performer in a mouse costume.
Rashion Crayton, 31, also fell in the sting. Crayton was head coach of the Davenport Titans, a youth football team in the Mid-Florida conference whose players range from 11 to 14 years old. He showed up to what he believed was a meeting with a 14-year-old girl for sex. He brought sex toys in an Uber Eats bag. A man coaching children by day, hunting them by night.
Twenty-four of the 31 suspects arrived armed. Sixteen were undocumented migrants, who were handed directly to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
"It is extremely disturbing when we encounter nasty child predators like these who are very eager to have sex with children," Judd said. "This is why we conduct these types of undercover operations."
Judd has arrested 281 suspects in operations like this one in 2026 alone. The man does not take days off.
Peter Schweizer, president of the Government Accountability Institute and Breitbart News Senior Contributor, pointed out that the Disney predator pipeline is not exactly new information. "I first wrote about predators working at Disney World in the book 'Disney the Mouse Betrayed' in 1998," Schweizer wrote. "That book forced the Mouse to conduct criminal background checks. But…13 park employees just picked up in a sting."
So Disney knew about this problem 28 years ago. They implemented background checks because a book embarrassed them into it. And in 2026, a single Florida sting still pulls 13 of their employees out of the park in handcuffs.
Background checks catch people who've been caught before. They don't catch the ones who haven't been — yet. That's what sting operations are for, and that's why Grady Judd runs them while Disney runs damage control.
The company that spent the last several years lecturing Americans about inclusivity and progressive values — the company that fought Florida's Parental Rights in Education law because it supposedly stigmatized children — employed a man who dressed as Mickey Mouse and showed up to meet minors. They employed twelve more who also wanted to meet up with underage children for their sexual gratification.
Disney's official position on protecting children has always been that they know best. That parents who objected to sexualized content in kids' programming were bigots. That Ron DeSantis was the real threat to childhood innocence in Florida.
Thirteen employees. One sting. One county in Florida.
Grady Judd has 281 arrests this year. Disney has a statement to draft.
