Masked ANTIFA members attacked police officers and openly mocked the assassination of Charlie Kirk at Turning Point USA's Women's Leadership Summit on June 6 — and if you're waiting for CNN to run a five-part series on "the rise of left-wing political violence," don't hold your breath.
Because apparently pelting cops with objects while celebrating a man's murder is just "mostly peaceful" protest behavior when the targets are conservatives. The tolerance crowd strikes again.
TPUSA confirmed that "multiple masked protesters wearing visible ANTIFA imagery have been hitting and throwing items at police" outside the event. But that wasn't enough for the black-bloc brigade. They also turned their venom on a grieving widow — chanting "f*ck Erika Kirk" and, per TPUSA, "mocking Charlie's assassination all morning."
Let that sink in. They showed up to a women's event — the kind of gathering feminists supposedly champion — and spent the morning celebrating the murder of a man to the face of his widow.
Police attempted to make arrests as ANTIFA members swarmed one of the entrances to the summit, creating a chaotic scene designed to intimidate attendees. These weren't protesters exercising their First Amendment rights. These were masked assailants committing battery on law enforcement while taunting a dead man's family.
Now imagine — just for a moment — that a group of MAGA hat-wearing protesters showed up at a progressive women's event, threw objects at cops, and chanted celebrations about a liberal figure's death. We'd have wall-to-wall coverage. Congressional hearings. The FBI kicking down doors at 6 AM. Anderson Cooper would need a fainting couch.
But ANTIFA does it in broad daylight, at an organized event, on camera? Silence. Absolute crickets from the same media apparatus that labeled parents at school board meetings "domestic terrorists."
This is what political violence actually looks like. Not a grandma wandering through the Capitol rotunda. Not a guy in a buffalo hat. Masked radicals assaulting police officers and celebrating murder — targeting conservative women who dared to gather in public.
We all watched them burn cities in 2020. We watched them get bailed out by Kamala Harris's fundraising operation. And now they're mocking assassination victims while attacking cops.
The question isn't whether ANTIFA is a terrorist organization. The question is why we keep pretending they're not.
