The city of College Park, Maryland, which is only four miles northeast of Washington, DC, seems to have a hard time locating city officials that do not carry heavy baggage. After pleading guilty to 140 counts of child pornography-related crimes, the former mayor, Patrick Wojahn, who is homosexual and an LGBT campaigner, received a 30-year term in November.
Reportedly devoted to revolutionary methods of “Black liberation” the seemingly identitarian, far-left city’s so-called “Racial Equity Officer,” Kayla Aliese Carter, came under scrutiny this week.
In addition to appointing a new mayor, College Park is allegedly looking into the racially heated social media postings of its equity officer.
Carter has been the “Racial Equity Officer” at College Park since May 2022, as stated on her LinkedIn profile. Prior to his imprisonment, the city’s pedophile mayor passed a resolution (20-R-16) with a Black Lives Matter theme, which seems to have been the inspiration for the part.
Carter said that her job description includes “advising on government policies that have negatively impacted certain groups and then establishing mechanisms to develop, promote, and sustain plans and activities to achieve racial equity in the city’s neighborhoods.”
As chair of the Government Alliance on Race and Equity Cohort, Carter added, “I also serve as staff liaison for the “Restorative Justice Commission,” and above all else, I fight for and support the residents of College Park who have suffered because of unfair policies and practices.
Carter has “organized a core team to execute the creation of equity assessment tools” and is responsible for “developing, coordinating, and organizing racial equality strategies,” according to the city’s website.
According to Fox News Digital, Carter’s income is $75,600 per year for her position with the city, which is a few thousand dollars higher than the typical state wage.
While Carter was attempting to hide her account, sleuths saw her explicit comments on X and took note. Her content is no longer visible, but her contentious header—which has a thinking bubble and reads, “I can’t wait for civilization to disintegrate so MY philosophy may emerge from the ashes!”—remains.
“Today I cohosted and occupied space with hundreds of people who have devoted their lives, careers, and money to black freedom,” Carter wrote in May 2020, according to the National Desk.
“Preparing (has been preparing) for what we will eat, live on, and cultivate following the destruction of everything,” the local official continued.
“Constantly shaming the downtrodden out of using violence???” According to another article, Carter made a statement when George Floyd passed away. “Since the oppressor desires to be the only arbiter of brutality,”
At one point in August of 2020, Carter allegedly said, “The cops are the white nationalists.”
Carter expressed her dislike of white youngsters staring at her in a 2021 post. Staring back at them until they stop is all I can do since it is so scary.
After becoming president in July 2022, Carter reportedly tweeted, “This is why I cant trust [white] people,” according to Fox News Digital, which cited Carter’s statement.
“How many ‘equity’ trainings will my work sucker me into attending where I log on to see a yT [white] lady educating me about institutional racism like BE FR?” Carter wrote in 2023.
