Border Patrol Agents FURIOUS At Betrayal

Once more, the United States has elevated Ukraine to the top of its agenda, overshadowing any efforts to fortify the southern border. All of the Democrats and almost all of the Republicans in the House voted on Saturday to approve a stand-alone aid package worth more than $60 billion for the struggling European country.

To celebrate the decision, Democrats began wildly waving flags of Ukraine on the House floor in one of the most deaf displays ever seen.

I do not care if someone is in favor of or against helping Ukraine, and I am aware of the geopolitical dynamics at work in an effort to stop Russia from prospering. That is not a justification to begin flying the flag of another country while American priorities are slipping. The majority of the members displayed an abhorrent lack of responsibility and horrible behavior on the House floor. It is incomprehensible to approve an additional $60 billion for Ukraine without providing even a small amount to aid in securing the southern border.

Rep. Gerald Connolly (D-VA) disregarded the need to address the situation on America’s actual border, going so far as to declare outright that the boundary between Russia and Ukraine is “our border.”

Agents of the Border Patrol, who have been suffering under the current pandemonium, were aware of this dynamic. After the assistance package vote, reporter Bill Melugin began to get angry texts.

Is it fair to blame them? If I were in their position, I would also be furious. These individuals are facing significant challenges, and the Washington establishment is providing them with no assistance. Put aside the debate over whether or not further help for Ukraine is necessary. What justification was there for passing a package of foreign aid without at the very least allocating funds for border security? Democrats put up a valiant fight to guarantee that CBP agents received nothing while Ukraine received tens of billions.

All I can hope for in November is some electoral retaliation. Observing this unfold gives me the impression that I am high on drugs. Under Joe Biden, millions upon millions of illegal aliens have flooded into the country, many of them living on the streets and overwhelming local communities. While they wave Ukrainian flags, Congress is powerless to address the matter. The visuals are really breathtaking.
