This week, former President Donald Trump has challenged President Joe Biden to a debate and a golf match. If Biden wins, the former president would pay $1 million to “any charity.”
Trump told the crowd at the Doral, Florida, event that he was “giving” Biden the chance to “redeem himself” following his dismal showing at the June 27 presidential debate.
Following his performance in the debate, Democrats, political supporters, and voters have called on Biden to “stand aside” and get out of the race.
Trump addressed the assembly, saying, “Tonight, I’m formally providing Joe the chance to redeem himself in front of the whole world.” “Okay, Marco, Byron, and all of you, let’s get started. If you’d like, you guys can serve as referees. This week, let’s have another debate so that Sleepy Joe Biden can show the world that he is capable of becoming president. But there won’t be any censors this time—it will be man to man.
Trump went on, “Sleepy Joe also stated during the debate that he wants to put his endurance and talent against mine on the golf course.
In addition, Trump declared that he was “challenging” Biden to a game of golf.
“I’m formally challenging Crooked Joe to an 18-hole golf competition right here.” He then threatened to “give Joe Biden ten strokes a side.”
“I will donate $1 million to any charity of his choosing if he wins,” Trump continued. “Furthermore, I’ll wager that he declines the offer. when all he does is talk. However, that game will demonstrate that Joe is, in reality, a talker rather than an actor.”
Biden and Trump sparred about golf strokes during the presidential debate, with Trump asserting that he had “just won two club championships.” Biden, as vice president, said he had reduced his handicap to six on the golf course.
