Rittenhouse’s ‘Really Good Lawyers’ Prepare To Deal Mainstream Media a Major Blow

Speaking during a Fox News interview Monday night, Kyle Rittenhouse said that his legal team is preparing to dole out justice to individuals who defamed him in the media throughout his trial.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson asked Rittenhouse whether he was planning to make those who smeared him with lies accountable for their actions. Rittenhouse responded by saying that he had “really good lawyers… taking care of that right now.” Rittenhouse added that he hopes that accountability comes to those who defamed him.

Carlson probed again, asking if Rittenhouse planned on letting instances of defamation against him go or not. Rittenhouse simply responded: “like I said… lawyers are handling that.”

Last Friday afternoon, a jury found Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty on charges of manslaughter, murder, and other felony charges after two men were fatally shot by Rittenhouse and a third injured during last year’s riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Rittenhouse is now 18 years old, and lives in Antioch, a suburb in Chicago a mere 15 miles from Kenosha. Last year, Rittenhouse went to Kenosha to assist other armed men in defending a used car dealership from vandalism and looting by the Black Lives Matter protesters.

Rittenhouse brought a medical kit and an AR-15 style weapon with him. While he was guarding the car dealership, protesters chased him until he was isolated and assaulted him. Rittenhouse used his weapon in self defense after receiving blows from two assailants and had a gun brandished at him by another. All three men he shot in self-defense were white.

Kyle was arrested and later charged with five felony charges as well as on misdemeanor charge. On Monday, the misdemeanor charge for possession of a weapon by a minor was thrown out by the judge. The judge also dismissed charges of violating curfew.
