Mandatory Wokeism: Biden Admin Makes New School Rules

Students at all levels of the public education system will now be forced to acknowledge a new set of woke rules that states there’s no such thing as a woman.

On Thursday, Biden’s Department of Education unsheathed a set of ridiculous changes to Title IX, a civil rights law originally passed to eliminate sexist discrimination in educational facilities that accept federal funding.

The changes, which totally eliminate the definition of ‘boy’ and ‘girl,’ expands Title IX protections to students who identify as transgender.

The proposed changes would expand protections against discrimination on the basis of sex under Title IX of the 1972 Education Amendments to include “sexual orientation” and “gender identity,” according to a DOE press release. Title IX prohibits schools from receiving federal funding from excluding any student on the basis of sex.

As required in the rule change, every space, program, building, bathroom, locker room, or any other location meant to accommodate individual students must now also make special allowances for students who may feel as though they are women, even though biologically, they are men.

In other words, schools from the elementary level through university will be forced to allow biological males in women’s bathrooms or lose all federal funding.

Education Secretary Miguel Cardona celebrated the Title IX changes.

Another aspect of the Title IX rule change involves the use of gender-specific pronouns. According to the new provisions, ‘misgendering’ a transgender individual could constitute sexual harassment.

Lest we forget, the transgender community consists of 0.03% of the U.S. population, so the massive changes to the ways in which schools are operated were enacted for the sole purpose of protecting a minuscule number of people.

Meanwhile, the Title IX changes inherently eliminate the definition of a ‘woman’, thus eliminating the rights of biological women.

“A shift from biological sex to gender identity means that girls and women will be forced to accept the presence of biological males in what have always been single-sex spaces,” Erika Sanzi, director of outreach for Parents Defending Education, said in a statement.

“It means that female students will be forced to use the same restroom as biologically male classmates and staff members, who identify as girls and women, and will likely be forced to compete in the same athletic events,” Sanzi added.

The way in which Democrats are so eager to force young women into the uncomfortable (and sometimes predatory) position of using the bathroom in front of biological males is not only disgusting, it’s an attack on womanhood itself.
