Kamala’s New Plan To Destroy The Supreme Court

VP Kamala Harris is in favor of the most extreme attack on the Supreme Court in our country’s history. It is much more risky than FDR’s failed and widely criticized plan to pack the courts with judges in the 1930s.

This new plan isn’t just a plan to fill the courts or limit the terms of current justices. It’s a “pack and replace” plan that would add liberal justices and quickly remove conservative justices, beginning with Justice Clarence Thomas. It is important for Democrats to have power over the Supreme Court because they don’t believe in an independent court.

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, who is the most dangerous person working to weaken the Supreme Court’s independence, says that Harris agrees with his proposed bill (S. 3096). This bill would require the president to appoint fresh Justices in their first and third years of each term, for up to eighteen Justices, and would only let the nine newly appointed Justices hear 99.9 percent of the legal cases that come before the Court. This dangerous plan is similar to President Joe Biden’s idea that Supreme Court justices should only serve for 18 years at a time.

Harris, Biden, and Whitehouse have other plans. When President Harris picks a new Justice in 2025, Justice Thomas would not be able to sit on almost any case right away. So, in 2027, Chief Justice Roberts would not be able to serve, and in 2029, Justice Alito would also not be able to.

There are constitutionalist justices who fought back against the left’s attacks on the rule of law. This bill aims to get rid of them. It is a clear attempt to bring party politics into the part of our government that is meant to be free from politics. Democrats didn’t have a problem with lifetime appointments or the ethics of the Supreme Court until President Trump put three conservatives on it. After that, the Court was no longer a rubber stamp for policies on the left.
