Netanyahu: Hamas Worse Than Nazis – Urgent Action Needed

When Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sat down with Maria Bartiromo this week, he made a statement that strikes at the heart of the evil Israel—and indeed, the civilized world—faces today. Hamas, Netanyahu said bluntly, is “as bad, in some cases worse than the Nazis.” Let that sink in. These are not words spoken lightly by any Israeli leader, least of all Netanyahu, a man whose nation was born from the ashes of the Holocaust.

His point is not hyperbole; it is a grim truth. Hamas has repeatedly demonstrated its barbarism, taking innocent civilians hostage, using human shields, and celebrating the slaughter of children. Netanyahu’s comparison resonates because it illuminates a darkness we must confront head-on. Hamas does not negotiate in good faith, nor do they desire peace. Their ideology is one of destruction, their goal the annihilation of Israel.

The prime minister’s firm stance against allowing Hamas to persist is a necessary response rooted in the harsh lessons of history. “We’re not going to keep these—it’s like keeping the Nazi SS,” Netanyahu declared. His message is clear: Israel will not tolerate the existence of an entity whose sole purpose is to murder Jews and eradicate the Jewish state. History has shown us the folly of appeasement; the only path to lasting security is the defeat and dismantling of Hamas.

Yet even amid this struggle, Netanyahu remains committed to the safety of Israel’s hostages, innocent civilians taken by Hamas terrorists and held in conditions he described as “underground dungeons.” He spoke candidly about the ongoing negotiations for a ceasefire, emphasizing his determination to rescue each captive. “So far, we got 205 out, 205 and 148 alive,” Netanyahu told Bartiromo. With resolve and leadership, he is working tirelessly to bring home all remaining hostages, alive or deceased.

Well, look, we are talking about a 60-day ceasefire in which half the live hostages and half of the deceased hostages would be returned to Israel by these Hamas monsters, you know? And yes, I think we’re getting closer to a deal. I think we’re — there’s a good chance that we’ll have it. And that’s very good because we want to — we’ve already released, you know, they took 255 innocent people hostage, these criminals, keeping them in these dungeons, underground dungeons in horrible conditions. On the first day of the war, a very senior defense official said in Israel, you know, you have to get used to the idea that you’re not going to even see one of them alive. And I said, ‘No, I don’t believe that. I think the combination of military pressure and political pressure will get them out.’

Netanyahu’s strategy is clear-eyed and unapologetic, focused on protecting Israeli lives while dismantling the terror infrastructure that Hamas has built over decades. The comparison to Nazi Germany underscores the gravity of the threat Israel faces—one that cannot be addressed with half-measures or wishful thinking. America must continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our closest ally in the Middle East, supporting their right to defend their citizens and eradicate terrorism at their doorstep.

President Trump’s America First foreign policy prioritizes strength, clarity, and moral conviction. Our administration’s steadfast backing of Israel sends a powerful message to the world: America will not waver in our defense of freedom and democracy. Trump’s leadership contrasts sharply with the weakness we saw under Biden and his allies, whose appeasement policies emboldened radical Islamic terror groups like Hamas and their Iranian backers.

Netanyahu’s words remind us of what is at stake—not just for Israel, but for every nation that values liberty and human dignity. Hamas must be defeated decisively. Anything less invites further violence, further hostage-taking, and further bloodshed.

As Americans, we understand the price of appeasement. We know that evil flourishes when good men hesitate. Netanyahu’s comparison of Hamas to the Nazis is a call to moral clarity and decisive action. It is our duty to stand firm with Israel, reject the lies of moral equivalence, and support the eradication of Hamas as a threat to freedom-loving peoples everywhere.
