Rock Bottom: It Doesn’t Get Much Worse For Joe Biden

In what will be a major shock to his presidency, Joe Biden has just received the lowest approval rating in his decades-long career.

Not since Richard Nixon has a U.S. President been so widely unpopular with the American public, although Biden’s near-constant scandals make Watergate seem innocuous.

Biden has said in the past that he hopes to resemble former President Jimmy Carter in leadership style, but, as Trump pointed out, that would be an insult to Carter. However, Biden does have something in common with the former President as they both share the same rock bottom approval rating at a similar point in their respective presidencies.

While it’s just one poll, though from a liberal outfit, the latest Civiqs approval rating for Biden is 29%, with 58% disapproving, by far the worst poll yet for the president.

Biden’s sinking began in April 2021 and only saw a brief plateau in March 2022 before continuing to fall.

Notably, the survey said just 62% of Democrats approve of Biden, something to pay attention to as more liberals and liberal media outlets start to question the president’s competency and ability to win reelection.

The survey’s data tracks with a Rasmussen Reports survey released last week that showed just 65% of Democratic voters approve of the liberal president. Rasmussen’s overall approval rating was higher, at 37%.

The average Real Clear Politics approval rating for Biden is 38%, making Civiqs an outlier.

In what is an even bigger shock to Biden’s system, it appears the Democrat Party has largely jumped ship, with a majority (64%) claiming to support a different candidate in the 2024 presidential election, in a poll released Monday by the New York Times.

The NYT poll shines a bright light on just how fed up Democrats are with their own leader as scandals, lies, and corruption continue to be exposed on a seemingly daily basis.

Conversely, while Trump may have experienced lower than average approval ratings with some portions of the public, he always received glowing reviews from his fellow party men. The Former President often received 90%+ approval ratings within the Republican Party.

Without support from his own party, Biden is likely done for.
