READ IT: DeSantis Sends Blistering Response To Interview Request

Amid a record-low approval from the general American public, liberal media outlets are desperate to drum up controversy in the hopes of improving ratings.

It turns out that a majority of viewers appreciate the news being delivered in an unbiased and non-partisan fashion — a far cry from the ultra-partisan programs on prestige television today.

Executives at mainstream media networks fully understand the ratings gold most Republicans bring to a failing program and have since begun inviting conservative figures on to boost ratings. Oftentimes, if a conservative does agree to appear on liberal TV, the resulting interview amounts to nothing but a series of gotcha questions from disrespectful hosts.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was the latest popular conservative figure to be invited on an ultra-liberal program.

The View, hosted by far-left activists such as Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg, invited DeSantis to appear on the show despite their constant defamatory statements against the Florida Governor.

DeSantis’ press team said it received an email from The View on Friday that said the show “would be honored” to have DeSantis as a guest. The governor’s Deputy press secretary responded to the View’s request and shared the exchange on social media.

“But are the hosts of the View really interested in hearing from Governor DeSantis about all of the important work he is doing on behalf of Floridians?” Griffin asked.

Read the full response below:

Griffin’s email proceeded to list several instances when the co-hosts of The View criticized DeSantis. One instance was Sunny Hostin calling the Florida governor “Death-Santis” in June 2022, and another was Joy Behar calling DeSantis a “homicidal sociopath.”

The email also listed Ana Navarro calling DeSantis’s policies “anti-Black,” “anti-gay,” and “anti-American.”

Christina Pushaw, DeSantis’s press secretary, chimed in on social media, calling Griffin’s response “perfect.”

DeSantis is a rising star within Donald Trump’s new Republican Party and is seen as a potential contender in the 2024 presidential election. However, the Governor said on several occasions he’s focusing on his reelection.

That didn’t stop View co-host Joy Behar from equating Trump and DeSantis, saying, “Why trade a headache for an upset stomach?”

Meanwhile, she seems to have no problem with giving the general public a collective headache on a daily basis.
