Joe Biden appears to be willing to disregard Navy Roberts, a child his son Hunter has with ex-stripper Lunden Roberts. Joe often speaks about his other grandkids, but he never recognizes that he has an additional granddaughter. At the Biden residence, there was no Christmas stocking for her. She has no significance whatsoever in the Biden universe.
However, Hunter Biden and Lunden Roberts are still engaged in litigation. The man who lives in mansions, and travels the globe with his father, is requesting a reduction in child support, saying that he is unable to make the current payment. He is also opposed to his daughter inheriting his last name.
When we last left you in this situation, Hunter’s legal team was alleging destitution, saying he received no pay and had his Porsche confiscated. They even came up with an absurd defense that featured Joe Biden, claiming that on their April trip to Ireland, Hunter had to sleep on a cot in Joe’s room due to Joe’s financial predicament. That is simply an absurd defense.
His team said that the sale of his artwork was the only source of his income, but they later stated they were unable to give a list of the buyers and the purchase prices of his paintings. If it’s his sole source of income, it does not make any sense that he can’t disclose how much he earned.
The Judge wasn’t pleased with the evidence they were submitting.
During the two-hour hearing, “Judge Holly Meyer reprimanded the 53-year-old’s legal team members, saying they had improperly withheld specifics from filings that had previously been made to the court in the course of the continuing legal saga.”
Before directing Hunter’s lawyers to refile some of the documents, the court warned them that “the ability to redact is apparently being abused.”
The irony that Hunter has expensive lawyers defending him even though he claims he lacks the money was also brought up by Roberts’ counsel.
However, the court has already issued an order for Hunter Biden to appear in person on July 10 in the Independence County Circuit Court to answer questions from Roberts’ counsel and provide evidence, including his bank records.
“The court order warns that Biden risks being found in contempt, which may result in a jail term of up to six months, a fine, as much as $20,000 in costs for Roberts’ legal defense, and the dismissal of his petitions in the case.”
Biden must appear before Meyer the next month to address concerns about his financial standing and “demonstrate cause if any exists, why he shouldn’t be held in contempt,” according to the judge’s ruling.
It seems that the court is fed up with the delays and wants all the information disclosed. Additionally, it is absurd since Biden wants to lower his expenses. The judge cannot fairly evaluate the merits of his allegations if she is unaware of the income he is making. Things will get much more intriguing if Hunter’s team is unable to provide the required information. He could really be held responsible by someone.
