Gov. DeSantis Announces Plan To Bankrupt Pro-Groomer Disney Once And For All

His winning streak is heating up and Ron DeSantis is showing no signs of backing down!

In what could be the most influential work of his career, the Republican Governor of Florida is on a mission to make Disney pay for their radical leftwing gender indoctrination of small children. The feud between Disney and DeSantis has escalated over the weeks before eventually coming to a head after the Governor signed a controversial anti-grooming bill.

Since then, Disney’s whack-job employees have come out of the woodwork and basically guaranteed that they will continue to inject their child-friendly content with radical gender ideology, including eliminating the words “boys and girls” from their theme parks.

But now DeSantis plans to really hit Disney where it hurts.

During its upcoming special session, the GOP-controlled Florida legislature will consider an end to special districts, including Disney’s Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID), DeSantis announced Tuesday.

Under the current arrangement, the RCID is run by the landowners in the district — predominantly Disney. The RCID levies its taxes, oversees its zoning, develops its infrastructure, writes building codes, oversees policing, provides fire protection, manages water services, and maintains other basic local government functions.

In other words, Disney is able to self-govern entire areas in Florida with impunity.

DeSantis considered revoking the RCID self-governing status for a while now, but the disturbing business practices coming from Disney really set it over the edge.

“What I would say as a matter of principle is I don’t support special privileges in law just because a company is powerful and they’ve been able to wield a lot of power,” DeSantis said last month.

Other Republicans have expressed support for the move, contending Disney has been given a different set of rules than other businesses.

Demonrats (Democrats) have unsurprisingly defended Disney groomers and are currently lobbying state lawmakers to uphold the RCID self-governing status. If that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know about liberals then nothing will!

Florida’s legislature will be in special session from noon Tuesday until Friday to redraw a new congressional map following months of intraparty squabbling and stalemates on the matter.

In addition to reevaluating the RCID, DeSantis also announced the legislature would look to remove exemptions for theme parks in the Big Tech Accountability Law, which is currently being blocked in court, in its session. The law requires tech companies to be transparent about their content moderation policies and grants Floridians the right to sue.

Go DeSantis, Go!
