Washington D.C. is a fascinating place if you consider the massive levels of corruption and debauchery that remain a closely guarded secret in an era of social media and ubiquitous camera phones.
Former President Donald Trump brilliantly referred to D.C. as “The Swamp” but according to one Republican Lawmaker, our nation’s capitol seems to resemble a scene from Eyes Wide Shut.
During a podcast interview, Rep. Madison Cawthorn was asked if Washington resembles the now-canceled Netflix series “House of Cards,” which showed rampant corruption, sexual perversion, and crime.
Cawthorn’s candid answer was a surprise given the secretive nature of Washington D.C.
Not only did the young Republican agree that “House of Cards” was an accurate depiction of the D.C. Swamp, he went a step further. Cawthorn revealed that high-level D.C. officials constantly engage in sexual orgies and rampant drug use — and have even invited him to participate.
“I heard a former president that we had in the ’90s was asked a question about this,” Cawthorn said. “And he gave an answer that I thought was so true. He said that the only thing not accurate in that show—that you could never get a piece of legislation about education passed that quickly.”
Cawthorn, 26, also said he has seen leading national anti-addiction officials do cocaine. “Some of the people leading on the movement to try and remove addiction in our country, and then you watch them do a key bump of cocaine right in front of you,” Cawthorn said. “And it’s like, this is wild.”
“Then all of a sudden you get invited: ‘We’re going to have a sexual get-together at one of our homes, you should come.’ ‘What did you just ask me to come to?’ And then you realize they’re asking you to come to an orgy,” he said.

The “House of Cards” show takes on an entirely new meaning now that we know without a doubt it depicts reality in such a brazen and shocking way.
All in all, it seems like D.C. is a lot more fun than initially assumed. Lurking underneath the stuffy, serious demeanor is an orgiastic den of iniquity riddled with drugs and promiscuities.
We wonder if Nancy Pelosi ever participated?
