In lieu of teaching children math, history, or science, the Democrat-controlled state of New York is reportedly spending massive amounts of taxpayer cash on events featuring drag queens.
The plan to weaken American society by injecting it with poisonous left-wing gender ideology is coming along nicely and Democrats across the country have unleashed a massive effort to train vulnerable schoolchildren in the school of progressivism.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration has teamed up with the ultra-liberal National School Board Association to target and criminalize conservative parents brave enough to stand up against pseudo-scientific lockdown measures and hyper-political curriculums.

An organization called Drag Queen Story Hour NYC has been paid more than $200,000, according to recent reports. The group deploys drag queens across the city’s public schools to train children by offering in-person readings of left-wing books. At least 49 drag programs have been organized at 34 public elementary, middle, and high schools, according to the chapter’s website.
The total funding includes $50,000 from New York State’s Council on the Arts, alongside $157,000 in funding from the city’s departments of Education, Cultural Affairs, Youth and Community Development, and even the Department of Transportation.
And can you guess how these bureaucratic departments amass discretionary budgets used for left-wing indoctrination of children?
New York taxpayers, that’s how!
However, after reports emerged of the six-figure drag budget, some members on the City Council are planning to do something about it.
“I am considering pulling funding to any school in my district that is implementing Drag Queen Story Hour,” Republican City Council member Vickie Paladino said.
“We are taking hundreds of thousands of dollars out of the pockets of hardworking New York taxpayers … to fund a program teaching little children about their gender fluidity? Not. On. My. Watch.”
According to Drag Queen Story Hour NYC, the aim is to provide children with positive “queer role models” and dispel any myths drummed up by conservatives. Meanwhile, these drag queens are introducing children to classical literature — oh, no. The New York Post claims children are being read pro-LGBTQUIA+ titles such as “The Hips on the Drag Queen go Swish, Swish, Swish”.
The controversy surrounding drag queens reading to children started years ago when the events were held in public libraries. They apparently became so popular, especially during ‘Pride’ Month, that liberal school administrators seized the opportunity.
Drag queens have now become fixtures amongst schoolchildren, even hosting a “kid-friendly” event at a 21+ gay bar in Dallas, Texas just last week.
