Less than a third of polled Americans approve of how President Joe Biden has managed the Russia vs Ukraine conflict, as yet another crisis unfolds on the president’s watch, just over a year into his term. Americans also largely disapprove of his handling of most issues, according to polling from Gallup.
A mere 36% of Americans, according to the poll, find Biden’s actions regarding the Russia situation satisfactory.
Over 50% of Americans disapprove of Biden’s actions on foreign affairs generally, his management of COVID-19, the economy, the border, and his overall job performance.
Gallup’s synopsis reads: “Biden’s overall job approval has shown no meaningful improvement since last fall when it declined after the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.” They add that, “high inflation and the continuing coronavirus pandemic are likely two factors keeping Biden’s approval rating down.”
The latest survey numbers show that Biden’s job approval rating is continuing to plummet in free-fall, and there’s no parachute available for him either as global tensions bring threats of war.
Surveys taken of Biden’s approval have precipitously declined since he first took office, with Biden’s COVID handling approval sinking from 67% to 47% between Feb ’21 and ’22, and his economic approval rating sinking from 54% to 37% over the same period.
A not so happy President's Day for @JoeBiden

Even self-identified Democrats are turning against Biden, with a mere 79% approval rating amongst his own party members.
With just 8 months until the midterm elections, Biden’s overall approval ratings are sinking Democrats, with more and more of America feeling discontent with the current state of those in power.
