Five American tourists were abducted while traveling across the Tamaulipas border state of Mexico by a gang of gunmen from the Gulf Cartel. The visitors were saved by Mexican police the same day, and then over the weekend, they found the cars the victims were driving, among them a Lamborghini Urus.
The incident started this week in the Tamaulipas community of Soto La Marina. Gunmen from the Gulf Cartel erected a roadblock at the city’s entrance, according to information supplied to Breitbart Texas by law enforcement officials. According to law enforcement officials, all five of the guys were traveling to Veracruz, a Mexican state, while they were residing in the United States yet was originally from the Dominican Republic. A relative of Rodriguez contacted Mexican police from the U.S. after the abduction, pleading for assistance and reporting that he believed his brother had been abducted, they had lost contact with the group, and their mobile phones had been switched off.

Authorities discovered one of the kidnapped victims inside the white Ford truck that the shooters left behind after the gunfight, along with many firearms.
The remaining abduction victims were abandoned on the side of the roadway along the route connecting Soto La Marina with Ciudad Victoria, the capital of Tamaulipas. The five victims received first aid and were all still alive.
Sergio “El Ciego” Guevara Vasquez, a Gulf Cartel member who works for Jose Alberto “Ciclon 19 or for La Kena” Garcia Vilano, who is the head of the Matamoros faction for the Gulf Cartel, was apprehended after FGJE investigators located the blue Lamborghini Urus in the Mexican border city of Matamoros.
