New Report: Team Kamala Growing Fearful Of Debate

Mr. Miller, a top advisor to the Trump campaign, says that Kamala Harris’s team is afraid to let her face the former president and are looking for a way out of it.

As we’ve already said, Harris has been complaining about ABC’s rules and trying (unsuccessfully) to change them. For example, she wants open mics even though her boss, Joe Biden, fought against them for his June debate against Trump.

They’re afraid she’ll say one of her stupid word salads and not be able to explain her bad track record:

“Miller told Sean Duffy, “They’re scared. Do you want to know why they don’t want to put Kamala Harris out there? She will have to answer for everything that happened over the last three and a half years. If you broke the economy, the border, and the world, you can’t talk about turning the page. That’s Kamala’s fault, and she will have to answer for it when she goes on the debate stage.”

It looks like the Harris team is scared because they sent angry messages on X about the microphones:

“The Harris team still won’t sign off on the rules that have already been agreed upon for the upcoming debate. These rules were meant to be the same as the ones that were set for the CNN debate between former President Trump and President Biden in June.”

“What ABC sent is a draft set of rules that both teams need to sign to show they agree with them. We haven’t done that because we believe both parties have made it clear that they want hot mics. It’s not clear why Trump staff is going against their boss, who should be able to make up his own mind,” Harris’s spokesman Brian Fallon wrote in an X post on Thursday. Miller did have an answer, though. He said that they’re really just trying to get out of the event:

“Miller disagreed with what the Harris team said, saying that they now know “what they’re working with” because they prepared Harris for the debate.”
