Kamala Harris has been avoiding the media, but Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow said that this approach would “work” for the campaign since they would “get great coverage” from the media anyway.
In an interview with the Charlie Kirk Show, Marlow brought up Harris’s choice of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), a “radical loud-mouth” who lied about his military background, supporting open borders, taking away people’s firearms, and “defunding the police.”
“Our ticket arrived. This woman wants to take your firearms away, defund the police, oppose Christmas, and support open immigration. She has chosen a loud-mouthed, radical man who has lied about his military experience and his close links to China. How on earth could this ticket win? “Well, hiding them is the only option,” Marlow remarked.
Marlow cited a clip in which Jim Acosta of CNN questioned Michael Tyler, the Harris campaign’s director of communications, about the dearth of press conferences and interviews.
The Trump campaign is also targeting the vice president for not doing enough interviews and for not hosting a news conference, so this is probably not the first time you’ve heard this question. Would holding a news conference kill you all? Why is she not holding a news conference? Acosta enquired.
“Listen, since the start of this campaign and the inclusion of Governor Walz in the ticket, the Vice President and Governor Walz have been extensively touring the nation.” Tyler remarked, “You watched how they traveled around the battleground states last week, organizing rallies for thousands of people—10,000 here, 15,000 there.” “A news conference is not what a campaign rally is. Why hasn’t she held a press conference? As vice president, she is qualified to answer inquiries. Why not give it a try? Acosta inquired once more.”
According to Marlow, Harris “wouldn’t even answer questions about that,” even after her image appeared on Time magazine’s cover.
“It’s obvious that they’re attempting to dodge the press. My concern is that it could benefit them,” Marlow said. “I worry that they won’t need to speak with them because they will still receive favorable media coverage,” Marlow continued. The media is all in on Kamala’s election, whether or not she speaks with them, having fought so hard to remove Biden.
However, Marlow said, “They think they can get away with it when Jim Acosta of CNN suggests, ‘Hey, can you guys talk to us, please?’ They respond by saying, ‘Well, she’s holding a rally.'” They actually do. They believe that this is a successful tactic. Recall that she hasn’t given any news conferences, conducted any interviews, or put any policy positions on the Internet. She has been a contender for more than three weeks, I believe.
Emma-Jo Morris, the Politics Editor at Breitbart News, noted that Harris is “running a presidential campaign with no policy” in an interview with Charlie Kirk Show host Rachel Marlow. Morris further suggested that Harris may view her role as president as limited to that of a mere representative of the United States and that she intends to delegate authority.
“I’ve been thinking about this a lot—how is she managing a presidential campaign without any policies, and is it really working?” Morris stated. “What I’ve kind of realized is that there are two ways to be president: being president and campaigning for president. The first is similar to Hillary Clinton’s or Kamala Harris’s first 2020 campaign, in which you discuss policy and your genuine intentions for governing, outline your plans for doing so, and attempt to persuade voters to support them. There’s also the alternative approach, which is, in my opinion, how Obama ran and served as president: “I’m not too interested in policy.” In my perspective, you are “vibes,” since I regard myself as the face and representation of the United States. You act as though vibrations are the sole factor supporting your candidacy.
