In a desperate attempt to conceal her pivotal involvement in the administration’s border crisis, Vice President Kamala Harris and her media cronies have been working nonstop.
We now understand why.
According to a recent Rasmussen Reports study, likely voters not only give her attempt a failing grade, but they also want to take the catastrophe into account when casting their presidential ballot in November.
63% of respondents evaluate Harris as “poor” to “fair” on the matter, according to the most recent statistics provided by Secrets. 48% of people think she’s “poor.”
Perhaps even worse is the fact that 70% of independent voters, 50% of black voters, and 53% of Hispanic voters think badly of her work.
Furthermore, 60% of respondents indicated that Harris’s stance on the matter would influence their decision to vote for president.
Since the government took office and swiftly undid all of the border-closing measures implemented by the previous president, Donald Trump, the issue of illegal immigration has been a constant source of anxiety for both President Joe Biden and President Harris.
Biden assigned Harris the task of identifying a solution since the spike in unauthorized crossings became so severe. At the time, the media referred to her as the “border czar.”
“I’ve asked her, the Vice President, today — because she’s the best-qualified person to do it — to lead our efforts with Mexico and the countries that help — are going to need help in stemming the movement of so many people, stemming the migration to our southern border,” Biden declared when announcing his move in 2021.
“I’ve been working on this subject for a very long time,” she said to NBC’s Lester Holt while traveling around Latin America. However, she started to back down from the topic during that interview, and her backers subsequently claimed that Biden had made her seem terrible by assigning her a difficult task.
Despite her and her media allies’ attempts to alter the history of her position, Rep. Mark Green [R-TN], the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, released a two-page “fact sheet” today emphasizing her role as czar.
The media at the time assigned Harris the title of “border czar,” as we recall from the Obama administration, to oversee a specific issue. According to the information sheet, she would have “the lead role on the broader border and regional problems,” according to some reports.
“It would be kind to say that Harris has failed to safeguard our border,” Green continued. More precisely, as Biden’s senior aide on the border issue and in her prior jobs, she has a long history of opposing immigration enforcement and border security. She is an open-border extremist.
