Are we really taking this person seriously?
With the support of the entire liberal western world behind him, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appeared before the U.S. Congress on Wednesday to deliver a message of “peace” while simultaneously begging for weapons to heighten the military conflict with Russia.
In what appeared to be a massive troll, Zelensky co-opted Martin Luther King Jr.’s 1963 “I Have A Dream” speech, which has its own unique place in American history and is in no way an accurate comparison to the situation unfolding in Eastern Europe.
“I have a dream. These words are known to each of you. Today, I can say, I have a need. I need to protect our sky. I need your decision, your help, which means exactly the same. The same you feel when you hear the words, ‘I have a dream,’” Zelenskyy told a joint session of Congress through a translator.
❝I have a dream. These words are known to each of you today, I can say I have a need. I need to protect our sky. I need your decision. Your help…Ukraine is grateful to the United States for its overwhelming support…However, I call on you to do more.❞ – @ZelenskyyUa pic.twitter.com/rDTffUvs2m

Soon after Zelensky’s emotion appeal to Congress, Joe Biden announced that the U.S. will send nearly $1 billion worth of war weapons to Ukraine. This announcement comes after he signed an omnibus spending bill on Tuesday which allocated $14 billion in military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
Bottom line: The notoriously corrupt Ukrainian government gets over $15 billion in U.S. cash and military equipment and we, the taxpayers, have to pick up the tab…
Complete and total bullshit.
The Biden administration has received criticism from NATO allies and members of Congress for not taking more of a leading role in brokering weapons shipments. Democrats, establishment media outlets, and their globalist backers have essentially called for full-blown war with Russia, endlessly calling for a no-fly zone and other aggressive tactics.
Zelensky himself has called for a no-fly zone on numerous occasions, goading the United States into a war we have no business being in. That proposal has been roundly rejected, as it would require the enforcing militaries to shoot down Russian planes violating Ukrainian airspace.
At some point in the American political trajectory, somewhere between George Bush and Barack Obama, the Democrat Party and liberals in general have taken the place of RINOs, or at least joined up with them, as being the leading advocates for foreign wars.
Their call to action in Ukraine is merely another vessel by which they can imperialize insidious western liberalism which has proven to be wholly unpopular in Russia, thus explaining the Democrat impetuous for war with Putin.
Democrat love war. Plain and simple.
