Bernie Sanders is melting down again. After President Trump’s triumphant address to Congress, the Vermont socialist went on an unhinged rant, claiming that the U.S. has become an “oligarchic society” under Trump’s leadership.
During his streamed response, Sanders whined that the Trump administration is a government “of the billionaire class, by the billionaire class, and for the billionaire class.” Apparently, Bernie is outraged that Trump is actually getting things done, unlike the typical Washington bureaucrats who burn through taxpayer dollars with nothing to show for it.
Meanwhile, Trump’s speech was nothing short of a victory lap. He celebrated his historic border security measures, his aggressive tariff policies, and his relentless executive action to rebuild America. “We have accomplished more in 43 days than most administrations accomplished in four years or eight years,” Trump declared. And he’s just getting started.
That must have sent Bernie into full panic mode, because he unleashed a list of tired, debunked leftist talking points, calling Trump a liar on election integrity, climate change, and even Social Security fraud—as if Americans trust him more than Trump at this point.
But what really set Bernie off was the Trump administration’s war on government waste. Under Elon Musk’s leadership, the newly created Department of Government Efficiency is finally cutting the fat—and Bernie can’t stand it.
“For the past several weeks, he and his good friend Elon Musk… have been throwing hundreds of thousands of federal employees off their jobs,” Bernie raged. Translation? Trump is draining the swamp, and the D.C. establishment is furious.
Sanders even went on a bizarre rant about artificial intelligence and automation, suggesting that Musk and his “billionaire friends” will soon be coming for American jobs. This is classic Bernie: fearmongering, whining about success, and blaming capitalism for everything.
Trump is proving that government can work efficiently, and Bernie Sanders hates that more than anything. Expect more tantrums from the left as Trump continues to dismantle their bloated bureaucracy and put America back on top.
