President Donald Trump has slammed Vice President Kamala Harris for stating that she could think of nothing that she would do differently from Joe Biden.
At a Coachella, California event, Trump brought up remarks made by Harris in an appearance with ABC’s The View. “If anything, would you have done differently than Biden?” was the question Harris was asked during the interview.
In response, Harris stated that she has “been part of most decisions” and that “there is not a thing that comes to mind.”
Trump addressed the comment and said, “Kamala Harris said this week she can’t think of one thing, not one thing that she would do differently,” before showcasing a video depicting the disastrous departure of the Biden-Harris administration from Afghanistan, which claimed the lives of thirteen American service people.
The video also mentioned how “more than 13,000 illegals convicted of murder have been captured at the border and then let go into the country” and how an Afghan national was accused of planning a terrorist attack for Election Day after entering the country in September 2021 using a “special immigrant visa” following Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Actor Dennis Quaid also was at the rally and said he supported Trump and told the audience that it was “time to pick a side.”
Quaid declared, “I’m here to tell you that it’s time to pick a side. Will our country be one that supports TikTok or the Constitution? Will we live in a country with open borders or one of law and order? Which brings us to the point when we must choose a side.”
During the rally, Rep. Ken Calvert (R-CA) also spoke. He compared the current state of affairs to the time when his parents were starting a family, when the “California dream” was a reality, with people able to find a “good paying job and buy a house.”
Calvert declared, “Today the California dream has turned into a nightmare thanks to the policies of Kamala Harris and other radical Democrats. Our country has the highest gas prices, the most expensive housing, the highest income taxes, and the greatest number of homeless people in the country.”
