Trump Issues Urgent Warning About Chinese Spies

In response to the discovery that a Chinese spy balloon is flying above the United States continental territory, former president Donald Trump warned on Friday that China has “many thousands of spies operating in the United States” in a variety of businesses.

“Sadly, it’s never even brought up that China has a large number of spies operating in American business, banking, academia, technology, media, and maybe even government.”

After that, Trump criticized Joe Biden for scrapping his Department of Justice program to stop Chinese espionage in the US. Added Trump:

“When I was president, I created a separate program at the Justice Department with the primary purpose of pursuing Chinese espionage in the country. That program was abruptly canceled by Joe Biden, who claimed it was in some manner racist .”

Trump pointed out that Biden’s decision to stop the special effort followed a call for its termination by 160 University of Pennsylvania faculty members. In order to “find out what the heck is going on,” Trump encouraged Congress to “go deeply into the financial activities of the University of Pennsylvania, its Chinese benefactors, the Biden Center, and the Biden family.”

If he wins the 2024 presidential election, Trump promised to “take action in a very dramatic way” against Chinese spying within the nation.

Trump said that he “took the most drastic measures of any administration to stop Chinese spies from operating within the United States. And those initiatives will be greatly extended whenever I return to the White House.”

“A reformed FBI and Justice Department will be looking for Chinese spies instead of looking for Republicans. To provide them with the means of defending themselves against internal threats, we will establish new alliances with corporations and academic institutions,” Trump declared.

In accordance with our requests and in accordance with our laws, he added, his government will “impose whatever visa bans and travel restrictions are required to block off Chinese access to American secrets.”

“Recently, the FBI even acknowledged that China maintains a covert police operation on American territory. How does that one suit you? Iron Fist of the Communist Party,” said Trump in conclusion. “The rule, consider this, the Communist Party’s control over Chinese people living in America. Just give it some thought. That will be stopped, and it will be stopped immediately. Thank you so very much.”
