Top Democrat Rushes To Hide His Connection To Anti-White Terrorists

A Black Lives Matter reference was taken down from the “Issues” portion of the website for Pennsylvania Democrat John Fetterman’s U.S. Senate campaign.

Under the subheading “What John thinks,” a version of the website that was archived on July 15 highlighted Fetterman’s support for Black Lives Matter.

“Black Lives Matter. John has defended the notion that Black lives matter since long before it became a hashtag and served as mayor of a city with a population that is more than 80% Black,” it said.

As initially reported on Wednesday by Thomas Catenacci and Kyle Morris for Fox News Digital, the allusion to Black Lives Matter has subsequently been taken down. Joe Calvello, the campaign’s director of communications, said in a statement that a “custom video” from Fetterman that was uploaded to the website in April continues to make mention to Black Lives Matter. The now-missing reference, according to the archives, was present on the page as early as February 2021.

According to Calvello, “the one part you seem to be mentioning was removed when we revamped and significantly extended our concerns website weeks ago. Voters have a right to know our positions, and we take pride in outlining our platform on our website.”

As lieutenant governor of the Keystone State, Fetterman has come under fire for remarks he made in the past about voter ID laws and how, in his opinion, they will disenfranchise “poorer” and minority votes in Pennsylvania.

In a Fox News piece published this month, Fetterman made the following comments in a December 2021 interview with Brian Tyler Cohen:

“In my state, they are going to pass, try to pass, an amendment to the constitution trying to ensure that a universal voter ID for each time you vote, not only when folks sign up to vote, but every time you vote because they recognize that at any given point in time there are tens of thousands of Pennsylvanians who are ordinarily on the poorer side and are people of color which are less likely to always have their ID.”

After the video went viral, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) denounced Fetterman’s remarks as “absolutely racist.”

There is no data to support the allegation that “voter ID laws decrease voting turnout amongst black Americans,” as Breitbart News’ John Binder stated.
