This Proves That The Democrats COVID-19 Strategy Is Failing

COVID-19 cases are surging once again throughout the country, particularly in major U.S. cities which have reimplemented mask mandates and vaccines in response to the rapid spread of the new Omicron coronavirus variant.

New York City, the model of a Democrat controlled city, is reporting an estimated 37,000 COVID cases per day as of the start of this week, a whopping 517% increase over the case average from two weeks ago, according to government supplied data.

Mere weeks before his December end of term, former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio declared that the city government would start requiring proof of vaccination for indoor activities starting on December 14th. As of December 27th, his edict mandates that all citizens 12 years and up would be required to prove that they received two doses of RNA vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

New York state, which peaked at 251,000 cases daily back in January of 2021, is now seeing an average of 400,000 per day this month.

Likewise, Washington, D.C., which reinstated their indoor m ask mandate as of December 21st, has also continued to see surging figures of COVID-19, with the nation’s capital averaging 2,100 cases each day, a 485% increase over two weeks prior and the highest spike on record since the start of the pandemic.

As of January 15th, all residents of D.C. aged 12 and up will be made to provide proof of vaccination as well if they want to attend any indoor meeting places such as restaurants, gyms, churches, etc. A Feb 15th deadline has been provided for those who require a second dose of vaccine.

The same story is playing out in other U.S. cities as well such as Los Angeles, Boston, and Chicago, all in spite of continued enforcement of mask wearing and vaccines.
