Liberals must understand they’re venturing into dangerous territory if they truly intend to seize the ability of Americans to defend themselves from tyrannical governments. By threatening to take away all guns from law-abiding Americans, what far-left lawmakers have essentially done is a call for war.
Progressive Democrat Mondaire Jones, a recent addition to the House of Representatives, and certainly one of the most radical, finally admitted to what Democrats have been refusing to say for so long.
Not only are they coming for our guns, but the Democrats are also willing to go to extraordinary lengths to eliminate our own firearms, including eliminating the filibuster and packing the Supreme Court.
On Thursday, Jones spoke before the Judiciary Committee as House Democrats continue to consider gun control legislation. His impassioned speech was as terrifying as it was refreshing. The extreme measures progressive Democrats are willing to take to outlaw guns are typically concealed so as to not alienate half of the country. Jones, however, laid it all on the line.
“Time after time, you have chosen your right to kill over our right to live,” Jones said histrionically, referring to Republicans.

GOP Rep. Jim Jordan, ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee, called Rep. Jones’ bluff, calling out Democrats for attempting to score political points with their nonsensical and highly illegal push to seize weapons from law-abiding Americans.
“Democrats never once reached out to us to seek our input on the legislation we’re considering here today. Protecting children is not a Republican or Democrat issue,” Jordan said.
“What we are doing here is just designed to appeal to Democratic primary voters. The bill won’t make your school safer. It will hamper the rights of law-abiding citizens, and it will do nothing to stop mass shootings. We need to get serious about understanding why this keeps happening,” Jordan added.
It’s imperative for Democrats to keep up the façade of wanting to protect children from psychotic criminals with guns, but it’s not difficult to understand what’s really going on here.
The Democrats are dancing on the backs of dead children to push a political agenda they believe resonates with their voter base. Plain and simple.
