In an interview with Breitbart News, this week, at the Turning Point Action Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida, the Sound of Freedom producer Eduardo Verastegui stated, “God’s children are not for sale.”
The unexpected success of the movie at the box office is the epitome of good people working together to “save the children,” Verástegui stated, giving God the glory for the amazing success of the movie.
“I’m really appreciative of God. Glory be to God alone.” Days before former President Trump is scheduled to host a screening of the film at his club in Bedminster, New Jersey, he remarked, “God is doing everything.”
Verástegui smiled and stated their complaints come “too late” when questioned about the opposition toward the movie, which included a CNN guest who said the movie was produced out of a “moral panic.”
“This is really absurd. It is. I mean, I laughed very loudly. They undervalue this movie. And because they believed that these men were insignificant, this movie wasn’t first challenged. They thought that they would be buried alive by Disney. People showed up after they realized that this was a movie for the people, not for the elite. They began criticizing the movie as soon as they realized its popularity and that it was the number-one movie in America. Too late now. Too late,” he said, asserting that the movement is expanding despite their desperate attempts to stop it.
“No one is able to halt this movement. This is only the start. Over 700 emails yesterday requesting for the movie in every nation came to us from all over the world. We underestimated how enormous this would be, and for that, I’m very grateful to God and especially to the many individuals who are praying. I think that prayer has power,” he declared.
“Since many years ago, millions of people have prayed for this movie. And I can see that God is doing this by using frail tools like us to spread his message of love. And He is working to put together an army of love with it which he is forming, to save the children, who are our little brothers and sisters.” He urged spectators to watch the movie and get tickets for themselves, their families, and other people, saying, “I’m just so thrilled to be a part of something that is bigger than myself.”
“May God keep you. Children of God are not for sale. This can stop,” he continued.
