The situation at the border keeps getting worse, and there doesn’t seem to be any end in sight. The terrible effects on everyone have been caused by Joe Biden’s stubborn refusal to do anything useful to stop the flow of illegal immigrants.
Senator Katie Britt spoke out about the problem this week and gave a very harsh criticism of the administration’s border policies. Her words may have been the most vivid and powerful way I’ve ever seen a leader speak about suffering.
Sometimes I try to keep the snippets short, but this one was so important that I took the time to type it all out.
BRITT: “Guys, I wouldn’t have ever witnessed the border for myself if this woman hadn’t told me I had to see it as soon as I walked into the Senate.” After that, I went on a trip with John Cornyn since they care. Senator Blackburn was going to speak to those people down there because she knew them. As we walked through it, women told us their stories. These stories are horrifying, and to Senator Cruz’s point, if you are not telling them, that’s on you, because whenever a woman is sitting there informing you not only that she’s been raped, but also how many times a day she is, you should listen. When she talks about having to lie in that bed while they came and went. I find it disgusting and reprehensible.”
“Look at how many people have lost their lives at the border simply because Joe Biden has worked to make it easier for people to come here. Do not forget that this is because of strategies that did not work. We could make this better. We can’t just fix this with money. Indeed, the rules need to be changed.”
Make no mistake, the crisis at the border is a direct result of the Biden Administration’s failures. pic.twitter.com/InMyZV9YXg

“I saw that the CBP agents were tired when I looked into their eyes. We not only have to push papers, but we also have to protect the border, which is what we swore to do when we took office. But when they say they found small children that had drowned in that river or pulled out the dead body of a woman that had been pregnant with twins, you should believe them. What’s going on changes your perspective on how you think about it. Oh, those pesky drug gangs. They’re everywhere in this country. You need to get started telling that story.”
