However, bringing actor Robert De Niro along to go on a tirade and lose his head was one of the more absurd aspects of their crazily stupid decision. Speaking out against Trump, De Niro even said that he would be participating in the campaign. However, in light of his catastrophe, they ought to be reevaluating whether they had any common sense, which they don’t.
They brought him in because they believe someone will be affected by the opinions of a Hollywood star, in classic communist fashion. They don’t give a damn about what the depressed Americans think. However, they’ll force this guy on us.
This is an example of how completely insane he became. Besides labeling millions of Trump supporters as “clowns,” he claimed that if Trump wins, modern governance will vanish from the earth.
He also mentioned 9/11, claiming that Trump intended to demolish the nation and the city, and that, in the long run, he may demolish the entire planet.
As he was leaving, New Yorkers heckled De Niro, calling him a “mook” and “washed-up.”
It appears that he is currently facing some repercussions from the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) for his partisan insanity.
“Next week, the NAB was scheduled to present De Niro with its esteemed NAB Leadership Foundation’s Service to America Award. However, the “proudly bipartisan” organization withdrew the award after De Niro criticized former President Trump at a press conference with Joe Biden and Hilary Hahn, calling him a “danger” to Americans who “want to destroy” the country and New York City.
Well done, guys. These days, few people stick to their principles. It’s also a good thing that they’re not overlooking the more than 75 million individuals. In addition to the trouble De Niro had already caused, the NAB might have been concerned that he might say something outrageous about Trump at their event. He has previously said similar things on occasion.
There is no one more deserving of their message than De Niro. I wish the choice had caused De Niro to reconsider, but he’s too far gone. Until the election, we probably won’t see him do any more absurd things.
