RFK Jr Makes Kamala An Offer She SHOULD Have Accepted

In an effort to get a strong — maybe even Cabinet-level — post in Kamala Harris’s government should she win the Democratic presidential primary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. reached out to the Democratic nominee, but Harris has so far rejected his offer to withdraw from the contest and support her.

According to many accounts, RFK Jr., a 70-year-old independent presidential candidate from a legacy Democratic family, tried to get in touch with Harris’ team last week to set up a meeting to talk about the offer.

“We were suggesting people should be talking to each other from the beginning of this campaign,” RFK Jr. stated to the New York Post. “There is no other way to bring the nation together.”

Furthermore, he implied that Harris would be making a “strategic error” if he rejected or ignored his offer.

He said, “I think it is going to be a very close race, so I think they ought to be looking at every chance.”

Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, RFK Jr.’s campaign manager, claims that Harris and her staff have not responded to RFK Jr.’s public request for her attention.

“Mr. Kennedy is open to having meetings with leaders of both political parties to explore the potential for a unity administration.”

The general Democratic Party has made it quite evident that it has no intention of working with the assassinated son of Bobby Kennedy and nephew of President John F. Kennedy, two of the greatest Democrats of the 1960s.

In a statement to CNN on Wednesday, DNC spokesperson Matt Corridoni stated, “No one has any plans of negotiating with a MAGA-connected fringe candidate who wanted a position with Donald Trump in exchange for an endorsement.”

RFK Jr. has not refuted his attempts to approach the Trump campaign. To explore RFK Jr.’s potential position in a second Trump administration, he and Trump allegedly had a face-to-face meeting in Milwaukee last month.

Around the same time, RFK Jr.’s team reportedly released a tape of a conversation between Trump and RFK Jr. In the video, Trump discusses a number of issues, such as vaccines for children and his conversation with Biden following his shooting and near-death experience at the Butler event, but he does not explicitly mention RFK Jr. receiving a role in return for his support.

A representative for RFK Jr. informed the New York Post that “Mr. Kennedy is prepared to meet with leaders of both parties to discuss the prospect of a unity administration.”

Before Joe Biden withdrew from the contest earlier this year, RFK Jr. made unsuccessful attempts to get traction with his candidacy.

CNN reported that Democrats had run advertisements referring to RFK Jr. as a “spoiler.” RFK Jr. told the New York Post that he has not communicated with the Democratic Party since he began his presidential campaign last year.

The New York Post requested a comment from Harris’s campaign, but they did not reply.
