Rand Paul: Fauci Definitely Lied About This

On Tuesday’s episode of “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) discussed his most recent research into the COVID-19 virus’s history.

Paul claims that the previous director of the NIAID, Dr. Anthony Fauci, lied about the origins of the virus.

He declared, “I’m 100% certain that Fauci lied to us and that they were conducting hazardous research there. I would say that based on the data I have seen thus far, it came from a lab. And everything comes together, and closeness matters. There are too many coincidences to count, including the fact that the lab is close to the locations of the majority of coronaviruses in the world and the biggest collection of coronaviruses ever assembled. However, there is also evidence to suggest that COVID-19 is the result of development and experimentation. A company in Wuhan actually requested funding from our Defense Department for the purpose of modifying coronaviruses like COVID to make them more contagious. A furin cleavage spot is what it is known as. It is not found in nature, and COVID has proven to be precisely that.”

Paul added, “This is a mystery that has been covered up. We’ve now discovered that American universities have contributed funds to Chinese military study. And we’re going to solve this problem. However, there is a significant cover-up going on, and Fauci has played a key role in it all. Although he claims to be retired, we now know that he is still employed by the government. And I think he keeps working so he can receive legal defense from the federal government because he is afraid of being charged. But we’ll get to the bottom of it because this is wrong on every level. To learn the truth about his job situation, we are writing to him. Has he retired? He still receives a government detail, right? There is a lot going on, but Tony Fauci is at the forefront of all of it and of every type of worry we have.”
