She’s at it again folks.
Joe Biden’s chief mouthpiece, White House press secretary Jen Psaki, white-knuckled through yet another press briefing in which she was grilled about the Department of Homeland Security’s new Disinformation Governance Board headed by none other than Hunter denier, Nina Jankowicz.
Doocy pressed the soon-departing press secretary on the role of Biden’s new Disinformation Board and if it will be tasked with censoring information the current president finds damning by using the ‘disinformation’ label as cover.
Psaki immediately launched into defensive mode, claiming the Disinformation Board was “a continuation of the work that was done under the Trump administration” as a way to detract from conservative concerns.
Since when has the Biden administration ever continued the work of Trump’s administration? They’ve taken an entire year to essentially dismantle all of Trump’s accomplishments and have publicly eviscerated all of his administration’s previous work.
So why now publicly support the work of Trump’s administration? Perhaps as a way to bypass the heat they’re receiving from the Right?
Really makes you think…
Doocy: "Just in terms of what [Biden] wants out of this, does he want the people on this board to censoring information that is not helpful to him?
Psaki insists they're only "establish[ing] best practices" to ensure thwarting "disinformation" doesn't harm civil liberties pic.twitter.com/xe2uUQeQBp

On Doocy’s second point, the one about how a story like Hunter Biden’s “Laptop From Hell” could be censored as “disinformation” to protect Joe Biden’s campaign only later to be authenticated as fact, Psaki had nothing to add. Like always, she’s remained tight-lipped about arguably the biggest political scandal since Watergate.
Doocy then directed his focus on Nina Jankowicz – the lead of the Disinformation Board – who publicly discredited the Laptop From Hell story as Russian disinformation.
“Should we look forward in the future to her censoring internet traffic about the Hunter Biden laptop?” Doocy asked.
Doocy: "Nina Jankowicz…is going to be in charge of the board. She has said…the Hunter Biden laptop is Russian disinformation. So, should we look forward…to her censoring internet traffic about the Hunter Biden laptop?"

Psaki did not comment further on the laptop.
That’s fine. Luckily for Psaki, the work has already been done by people willing to tell the truth online.
Jancowicz is a hyper-partisan establishment liberal — not in any way an unbiased actor in the fight against threatening disinformation. She’s repeatedly voiced her support for Hillary Clinton and, as mentioned earlier, called for the censorship of the Laptop From Hell story.
Maybe @HillaryClinton's most important point so far: "A @realDonaldTrump presidency would embolden ISIS." #ImWithHer

Jankowicz talks a lot about "disinformation laundering." Well this is about the best example you could find.

We’re going to be paying a lot of attention to what the Oversight Board decides tomorrow, and autocrats around the world will be especially interested.
But we should be clear that the networks that gave rise to Trump & allowed January 6 to happen are much broader than one man.

Facebook didn’t suspend Trump for false content- it was for incitement and danger to public safety.

Back on the "laptop from hell," apparently- Biden notes 50 former natsec officials and 5 former CIA heads that believe the laptop is a Russian influence op.
Trump says "Russia, Russia, Russia."

Just to be clear who we’re dealing with here…
