People care more about the economic and immigrant issues than gun rights, but gun rights are still important because the US is becoming more dangerous and lawless. The truth is that lawmakers and the media have made police look bad, which has made them less successful at stopping crime. People will have to turn to private gun ownership for self-defense because of this.

When it comes to guns, Democrats have moved far to the left in recent years. There is nothing good about the normal Democratic politician when it comes to the Second Amendment or a lot of other problems, from immigration to free speech.
