Musk Follows Through With Promise To Vote Republican

Elon Musk has a pattern of consistently following through with the many declarative statements he makes on social media.

Most recently, the Tesla CEO vowed to vote Republican in the 2022 midterms after a series of attacks from high-ranking members of the Democrat Party, including Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez caused him to second guess the party’s direction.

Musk has noted the glaring problems within the Democrat Party as they veer further to the left while simultaneously demonizing anyone and everyone who doesn’t support a radical woke movement, which he refers to as a “mind virus.”

Now Musk is revealing the first Republican he’s ever voted for.

Republican candidate Mayra Flores made history this week when she flipped a historically deep-blue district in south Texas. In a recent tweet, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO revealed that he voted for Flores in the Texas 34th Congressional District special election.

Flores is the first Republican to hold that seat in the past four decades.

The world’s richest man cast his first Republican vote for Flores before predicting a massive Red Tsunami in November. Polling data seems to back up Musk’s claims as Republicans seize on an opportunity to inform voters about the Democrats’ horrific policies.

After disclosing his vote for Flores, Musk was asked his thoughts about the 2024 presidential election. The now-Republican Musk shocked social media users when he revealed which GOP candidate he’d consider voting for in the next election.

Musk also responded to a tweet asking if the criticism he has received from Democrats recently is the first time he’s experienced major objections from left-wing politicians, to which Musk responded “yes.”

Flores, coming off her historic win, thanked Musk on social media for his support and welcomed him into the new Republican Party.

Flores’ victory in Texas can not go understated.

The previous lawmaker who occupied Flores’ seat abandoned the 34th district to work for a D.C. lobbyist group, Akin Gump.

Gov. Greg Abbott called a special election to fill the seat. Flores will now face off with Rep. Vicente Gonzales — who abandoned his old district to run against Flores in the 34th instead.

Flores winning the special election means she will also have the power of incumbency in a district that will be decidedly more Democrat-friendly in November. However, it could also set the tone for GOP gains with Hispanic voters along the border.
