ICE Shooting Video Evidence Could Reveal TRUTH

For four days, Democrats have called it murder.

Tim Walz compared ICE agents to Nazis. Barack Obama called for more protests. Bill Clinton accused the Trump administration of lying. Swalwell wants the agency “crushed.” Schumer is threatening to shut down the government.

All of it based on their version of events. Their narrative. Their assumptions about what happened when Alex Pretti was shot Saturday in Minneapolis.

There’s just one problem.

The agents were wearing body cameras. And DHS has the footage.

The Game-Changer

According to NBC News, Homeland Security investigators have videos recorded by cameras worn by multiple agents during the Pretti shooting.

DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin confirmed it. The agents involved were part of the Border Patrol Tactical Unit — a specialized force that, according to two law enforcement officials, has more body-worn cameras than standard units.

Multiple angles. Multiple recordings. A complete visual record of exactly what happened.

Every politician who’s spent the last four days screaming about murder and Nazi tactics is about to find out whether the evidence supports their claims.

Something tells me they’re nervous.

What We Know

Pretti was armed with a Sig Sauer P320 series 9mm semi-automatic pistol. He carried two additional magazines. He had enough ammunition to do serious damage.

He did have a concealed carry permit. But having a permit doesn’t give you the right to approach federal agents conducting an operation while armed. It doesn’t protect you if you interfere with law enforcement. It doesn’t make you bulletproof.

The agents were conducting a targeted operation against Jose Huerta-Chuma, an illegal immigrant from Ecuador with a criminal history that includes domestic assault. They weren’t randomly “roaming the streets,” as Swalwell claimed. They were there for a specific dangerous individual.

Pretti inserted himself into that situation. Armed. With extra magazines.

The P320 Question

Here’s an interesting detail that’s been floating around.

The Sig Sauer P320 has a documented history of accidental discharges. There have been lawsuits. There have been incidents where the weapon fired without the trigger being pulled.

Some have speculated that Pretti’s gun may have gone off accidentally, sparking the escalation that led to his death.

That hasn’t been verified. But if the body camera footage shows Pretti’s weapon discharging — intentionally or not — it completely changes the narrative.

An agent hearing a gunshot from an armed man approaching them has every right to respond with lethal force. That’s not murder. That’s self-defense.

The footage will tell the story.

The Rhetoric vs. Reality

Democrats haven’t waited for facts. They never do.

Walz called it Gestapo tactics before the body was cold. Obama demanded more protests. Clinton accused the administration of lying about what happened. Swalwell told agents to quit before they “shoot another innocent person in the face.”

All of this based on what? Witness accounts from hostile crowds? Assumptions that fit their political agenda? The word of people who’ve been calling ICE agents Nazis for months?

Body cameras don’t have political bias. They don’t spin narratives. They record what actually happened.

If the footage shows Pretti threatening agents — if it shows him reaching for his weapon, or his gun going off, or any aggressive action that justified the response — every Democrat who screamed murder is going to look very foolish.

And if they’ve been inciting violence based on false claims about what happened, they should face consequences.

Will It Be Released?

That’s the big question.

DHS is reviewing the footage now. Whether it becomes public is another matter. There are investigative concerns. There are privacy issues. There are a hundred bureaucratic reasons to keep it under wraps.

But here’s the thing: if the footage exonerates the agents, there’s every reason to release it. Let the public see what actually happened. Let the narrative-spinners explain why their version doesn’t match the video.

Trump’s administration has been aggressive about transparency when it helps their case. The photo of Pretti’s gun was released almost immediately. The details about his extra magazines came out fast.

If the body camera footage supports the agents’ account, expect to see it.

The Real Lesson

Regardless of what the footage shows, one fact remains clear.

Alex Pretti would be alive today if he hadn’t approached armed federal agents while carrying a loaded weapon with extra magazines.

He wasn’t a random bystander. He wasn’t peacefully observing. He was part of the “whistleblowing, often violent crowds” that have been harassing federal personnel in Minneapolis for weeks.

He made a choice to insert himself into a dangerous situation. He made a choice to do so while armed. He made a choice that put him in the path of agents who were there to arrest a violent criminal.

Those choices have consequences.

The Politicians Who Created This

Walz and Frey don’t get to escape responsibility.

They created sanctuary policies that attracted illegal immigrants to Minneapolis. They refused to cooperate with federal enforcement. They compared ICE agents to Nazis. They told their residents to “stand up” to federal officers.

They built the environment where confrontations were inevitable. They provided the rhetorical framework that made resisting law enforcement seem heroic. They lit the match.

Now they’re blaming Trump for the fire.

The body camera footage might show exactly what happened in those final seconds. But nothing will change the months of incitement that led to them.

The Bottom Line

Democrats spent four days calling this murder.

They demanded defunding. They threatened shutdowns. They compared agents to death squads. They called for the agency to be “crushed.”

And the whole time, video evidence existed that could prove exactly what happened.

Now DHS is reviewing that footage. Soon we’ll know whether Pretti was an innocent victim gunned down by rogue agents, or an armed man who made fatal choices in a volatile situation.

The politicians who’ve been screaming the loudest should be hoping their version is accurate.

Because if those body cameras show something different — if they show agents responding appropriately to a threat — every accusation of murder becomes a documented lie.

And every call for violence based on those lies becomes something much worse.

The footage exists. The truth is coming.

Get your popcorn ready.
