It’s utterly ridiculous how the Supreme Court decision allows Border Patrol agents to cut the state-installed razor wire at the border. Yet, Governor Abbott refuses to back down, showing true grit and determination in the face of federal overreach.

It’s appalling to see the Biden administration neglect its duty to protect our borders and states. This negligence has pushed Governor Abbott to rightfully declare an “invasion” and assert Texas’s constitutional right to self-defense. His argument that Texas has the legal authority to sidestep federal policies due to the federal government’s failure is not just legally sound, but it’s also a necessary step in preserving the sovereignty of Texas and the safety of its citizens.

The Biden administration’s weak and ineffective border policies have resulted in a crisis, with illegal immigrants flooding into our country unvetted and unchecked. Governor Abbott’s measures, including the installation of razor wire and the deployment of the Texas National Guard and Department of Public Safety, are critical actions to counteract the administration’s incompetence.

The situation at Shelby Park in Eagle Pass is a glaring example of the disastrous impact of the Biden administration’s policies.
