They also had intelligence suggesting that the Obama administration took active steps to interfere with the investigation in order to protect Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential run. You read that right. Officials allegedly worked to kill the investigation—not because the facts didn’t warrant it, but because the political consequences were too damaging.
Meanwhile, what did the same FBI do when it came to Donald Trump? They launched a full-blown, years-long investigation based on a phony dossier funded by the Clinton campaign. Comey’s FBI chased shadows, leaked to the press, and spied on American citizens—all to try to take down a duly elected president.

And don’t forget who else was involved. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, then-head of the DNC, appears in intelligence reports communicating with individuals tied to George Soros’s Open Society Foundations.
