Democrats Run For The Exits As Midterm Apocalypse Looms

It’s that time of year again. The post-holiday time where Congressional members try and decide whether they’re going to make another go, or just let the chips fall where they may. Republicans and democrats alike are trying to get an idea of the landscape, and if you’re running as a Democrat, it’s not looking too good right now. Biden’s approval ratings are in the toilet, inflation is sky high, and COVID is running rampant throughout the United States, with most Americans blaming Democrats – and rightly so. Even more disturbing for leftists, is that new polls are showing huge shifts in party preference towards Republicans. That’s a huge difference since Joe Biden first took office. Just goes to show you that you how badly Democrats can mess things up in such a short amount of time.

This is probably why there was a massive red wave in the November elections last year, where Republicans took unexpected victories in places like New Jersey and Virginia.

The truth is, Democrats are running scared right now. They’ve got fear in their eyes, and it’s well-placed. Democrat districts are becoming more and more difficult to maintain, especially as Biden’s administration and other Washington-level Democrats mess things up on the federal level. Just last week, Ed Perlmutter, a Democrat from Colorado, announced he was leaving to pursue other opportunities. He marked the 26th Democrat to do so.

Now, Jim Langevin (D-RI) and Jerry McNerney (D-CA) are joining the exodus from the desecrated landscape that is Democrat-run Washington. They are now the 27th and 28th Democrats fleeing for the exit rows.

This is bad news for Pelosi and her gaggle of Democrats in the House. The Democrats hold the majority but it’s incredibly thin, and Republicans only need five seats in the house to flip the script and take the majority in the House. Word on the street is that Pelosi is on her way out, too. Truthfully, we can’t imagine anyone who will be sad to see her go. She’s been a retirement prospect for years, and it’s blissful to think the rug might finally be pulled out from under her. Good riddance!!
