It turns out that the woke obsession with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) isn’t just annoying—it’s dangerous. A new study from Rutgers University and the Network Contagion Research Institute confirms what conservatives have been saying for years: DEI programs don’t solve racism; they create it. Even better, they throw in a little authoritarianism for good measure.
Titled “Instructing Animosity: How DEI Pedagogy Produces the Hostile Attribution Bias,” the study essentially exposes DEI for what it is: a Marxist fever dream that encourages people to see prejudice and oppression where none exist. Researchers conducted psychological surveys using material from woke heroes like Ibram X. Kendi and Robin DiAngelo and found that so-called “anti-racism” training actually fosters hostility, suspicion, and punitive behavior.
“Instead of reducing bias, they engendered a hostile attribution bias, amplifying perceptions of prejudicial hostility where none was present,” the study noted. Translation: if you teach people to see boogeymen everywhere, they’ll start imagining them everywhere—even where they don’t exist.
Huge new result:
Anti-racism trainings probably lead people to accuse others of racism even when they're not racist.
That's exactly the result of a new study on DEI trainings, with a special focus on the impacts of the works of Ibram X. Kendi and Robin DiAngelo.

The report didn’t stop there. It showed that DEI programs don’t just make people paranoid—they make them authoritarian. According to the findings, participants exposed to DEI’s “anti-oppressive” narratives were more likely to support harsh punitive measures for imagined slights. This is exactly the kind of mindset that totalitarian regimes love, and it’s no coincidence.
DEI borrows directly from the Marxist playbook, dividing people into oppressors and oppressed. It’s a tried-and-true tactic that Mao Zedong, the infamous Communist dictator of China, used to pit his citizens against one another while consolidating his power. And just like Mao’s Red Guards—a radicalized mob of youth who enforced his every dictate—modern woke warriors patrol workplaces and classrooms looking for “oppression” to punish.

But don’t just take my word for it. As the study highlights, DEI programs rely on Marxist assumptions and, unsurprisingly, produce Marxist outcomes. Christians believe in the sanctity of the individual soul, but Marxism treats people as pawns in an endless oppressor-vs.-oppressed struggle. It’s a worldview that thrives on division and resentment, not unity or justice.
Thankfully, the tide is turning. This study is just the latest cultural sign that Americans are waking up to the lies of DEI. Companies, schools, and everyday citizens are starting to push back against this ideological poison. Conservatives have always known that true equality comes from treating people as individuals, not as members of grievance groups. The battle against DEI is one we’re winning—and not a moment too soon.
