At Saturday’s glamorous Los Angeles fundraiser for Joe Biden, Hollywood stars George Clooney and Julia Roberts delivered a menacing warning, stating that “democracy” and “our children’s future” are in jeopardy in the event that former President Donald Trump retakes the White House in November.
With the help of their tremendous star power, George Clooney and Julia Roberts earned about $30 million for Joe Biden’s reelection campaign at the large Hollywood party, thanks to their tremendous star power. Additionally, they obediently repeated Democratic talking points designed to frighten the party’s grassroots into supporting the wildly unpopular Biden.
According to a Los Angeles magazine article about the event, Clooney cautioned that “there’s nothing riding on it [the election] except, you know, democracy.”
Roberts struck another menacing chord. She allegedly stated, “Just the future, our children’s future, our grandchildren’s future.” That’s all that’s now in jeopardy. Only that.
Celebrities and pundits have been repeating the word “democracy” over the airwaves and social media in recent months, making it one of the Democrats’ favorite talking points. They typically associate Biden with “democracy” and paint any opponent as a danger to it.
Barbra Streisand, Jack Black, Jimmy Kimmel, and other superstars graced the Peacock Theater at the L.A. Live complex on Saturday.
According to reports, Streisand also discussed “democracy,” cautioning that “democracy is under siege.”
“Fortunately, there is an accomplished Democratic leader in the White House who has enacted significant domestic legislation,” she remarked.
Kimmel moderated a discussion between Biden and Barack Obama this weekend.
During the conversation, Obama attacked Trump. According to reports, he stated, “I think that we’ve normalized behavior that used to be disqualifying over the last several years.” A jury of his peers found one of the two main parties’ nominees guilty on 34 charges, a sight we witnessed.
Though he raised an outstanding sum of money on Saturday, Biden is not receiving the same level of celebrity support as he did in 2020.
Many celebrities who actively supported him on social media have either been remarkably silent or have flatly refused to give him another endorsement. Celebrities fear that if they support the unpopular Biden, their personal brands may suffer, particularly with young, progressive voters who are predominantly anti-Israel.
