Chinese Leaders Want Mike Pompeo Gone For Good, Here’s Why

The former U.S. secretary of state Mike Pompeo spoke out against the Communist Chinese Party in films from the Hudson Institute’s China Center, according to a letter from the Chinese embassy in the U.S.

“I’m being told to stop speaking the truth by the CCP. Not going to happen,” said a Tuesday tweet from Pompeo.

In Pompeo’s post, a picture of a letter from the Chinese embassy in the United States complaining about the films and asserting that the Communist Party of China has helped the people of the country.

Pompeo criticized the communist Chinese government for being hostile to the Chinese people in the Hudson Institute films.

In the first video, which also has what appears to be the Chinese language of Pompeo’s words on the screen, he states, “The Chinese Communist Party does not really represent the Chinese people. The CCP is a one-party, dictatorial political force dedicated to a diametrically opposed foreign ideology. It began as a gang of vicious, extreme radicals. And, to be honest, not much has altered.”

“The Chinese people are the CCP’s greatest enemy,” according to Pompeo. He added that “maintaining their control over the Chinese people is what the CCP genuinely cares about.”

Pompeo was accused of making “baseless accusations against the Communist Party of China,” according to the letter from the Chinese embassy.

“The CPC was created with the people in mind and is supported by the people. The Constitution of China supports the CPC’s leadership, which has been chosen by history and the Chinese people. Without the CPC’s direction, China’s progress would never have been feasible. Under its guidance, the Chinese people have built the People’s Republic of China and emancipated themselves from intimidation, oppression, and subjugation through rigorous struggle and hard effort,” The message asserted.

Prior to becoming secretary of state, Pompeo served as CIA director for a period of President Donald Trump’s administration. He had previously represented Kansas as a representative in the US House of Representatives before taking on those positions. He is receptive to the idea of running for president.

“In order to give what the American people deserve,” Pompeo said last month, “I will make my decision about what I’ll do next, the place I’ll find myself, whether that’s supporting someone run for president or putting myself forth as a candidate, ah.”
