China Invading – Congress Investigates Latest Strategy

In recent years, the number of Chinese nationals entering the country illegally has significantly increased. The ongoing border crisis has sparked worries about national security, particularly in light of the possibility that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is taking advantage of the United States’ immigration issues.

A House committee will investigate the sharp increase, as per a Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) exclusive story.

“A spokesperson for the House Homeland Security Committee informed the DCNF that the committee’s subcommittee on accountability will have a hearing on Thursday to discuss the around 8,000% increase in Chinese illegal immigration that the country since March 2021, as well as any potential border authority policies that may have contributed to the spike.” According to an internal communication from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) that the DCNF just made public, Chinese illegal immigrants are entering the nation more quickly now that the Biden administration significantly streamlined the vetting procedure in April 2023. In an email, CBP instructed Border Patrol officers to ask only five “basic questions” on the “Universities,” “Military Service,” “POB/Region,” “Employment,” and “Political Party” of Chinese illegal immigrants instead of the mandatory 40 inquiries.

The head of the oversight, investigations, and accountability subcommittee, Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC), stated that the circumstances at the southern border “provide a great opportunity for the [Chinese Communist Party] to damage our national security.”

With Border Patrol officers told to reduce vetting for Chinese nationals in order to expedite their entry into the country, he pointed out that investigations are now even more imperative and cautioned that the growing number of them “threatens our sovereignty.”

The growing problem of illegal Chinese immigration remains unaddressed. The article suggests that the problem is probably a result of the Biden administration’s decision to facilitate the procedure for Chinese citizens.

“As if the festering wound that is our southern border was not awful enough, we now find out that the Biden Administration, in typical feckless fashion, has significantly weakened the screening procedure for Chinese people who are crossing that border illegally and entering the United States.”

According to J.J. Carrell, a former CBP deputy patrol agent in charge who saw the email, “this trimming back of the interview process fast-tracked the release of Chinese illegal immigrants into the U.S. while making it more difficult for CBP inspectors to spot national security problems.” “This policy adjustment has sped up the processing time for illegal Chinese immigrants; it does not increase American security,” Carrell claimed. “The end result is that the United States will continue to unleash dangerous illegal Chinese immigrants.” According to Carrell, “this is just the government covering their ass so they can say they screened.” “I believe the government wants to try and identify these people because they see a threat from Chinese soldiers and spies who are flooding America.” But despite the impossibility of doing so, the same administration does not wish to restrict the flow of Chinese nationals or illegal immigrants—only the “bad ones.”

The number of Chinese nationals entering the country illegally has increased dramatically.

“People from Venezuela, Mexico, Africa, and other countries often consider the porous southern border when considering attempts by foreigners to enter the United States. However, there is another group whose number of applicants has skyrocketed: Chinese nationals. “Border officials apprehended over 24,000 illegal Chinese immigrants in 2023, surpassing the number of people apprehended ten years prior.”

It would seem appropriate for the House to look into this matter. It is unlikely, however, that this will lead to steps being taken to stop the flood of Chinese nationals, given the Biden administration’s penchant for loose border controls.
