Quentin Tarantino, the director of Pulp Fiction, said what many Kamala Harris fans think but don’t want to say out loud: that an interview with even the friendly establishment news media would hurt her chances of winning in November.
He said this while Kamala Harris is still avoiding the press. She hasn’t done an interview or even a press meeting since the DNC chose her to replace Joe Biden on the presidential ticket more than a month ago. The party seems to be content with letting the media keep covering her in a positive light while avoiding tough questions about inflation and the unprecedented number of illegal immigrants.
Quentin Tarantino said he didn’t think Kamala Harris was very smart not as an attack on the Democratic nominee, but as a fan who would vote for her no matter what she says in public.
According to the director, this is all about winning the election, as he said in the most recent episode of Bill Maher’s show “Club Random.” “Sometimes it’s all about winning, and how we look doesn’t matter.”
Tatum said, “It’s a mad fucking dash, and she’s running and not stopping to fall. She has no reason to be on your show before the election.”
Maher said, “Yes, there is because I talk to the exact person she needs. People who aren’t loyal to either side politically are exactly the group she needs.”
Later in the show, Tarantino said, “I’m going to vote for her anyway, no matter what she says in a stupid interview… Don’t fuck shit up.”
The Kamala Harris campaign website still doesn’t have any policies. This is five weeks after Harris took over the presidential ticket and one week after the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois.
Some of the few things she has said about policy have not gone over well.
Kamala Harris deliberately copied Donald Trump’s idea to stop taxing tips for service workers. In fact, Harris’s vote as vice president was the one that made it possible for the IRS to find workers’ tips and tax them.
Many people didn’t like her plan to control the prices of groceries. Experts on both sides said the Communist-style policy would cause food shortages and social unrest for everyone.
