Biden’s aides added the word “semi” to the insult in a feeble attempt to make his horrific assault against a former US president and half of America seem “less evil.” Like atheists who identify as agnostics, perhaps? They may avoid acknowledging their atheism, then. Oh, yeah.
Since at least six years ago, the left and its liberal media sock puppets have repeatedly warned us that Donald Trump and his supporters pose a “danger to democracy.” And when Democrats refer to “democracy,” they mean Democrat government free from opposition. Just one issue. The United States Constitution purposefully established a constitutional republic, not a democracy, with safeguards, as I stated in an article published on RedState on Sunday under the headline Thank God the U.S. Is Not a Democracy:
Despite democratic voting, individual authority is constrained in a constitutional republic since the constitution upholds certain rights. “In a constitutional republic, citizens vote for representatives, who then often cast ballots to enact laws or make decisions. The presence of a constitution prevents the representatives from passing laws that infringe on people’s rights.”
It is the responsibility of conservatives to keep emphasizing this fundamental fact at every available moment, since Biden and the Democrats not only continue to ludicrously accuse Trump and “MAGA Republicans” of concealing fascist objectives, but the Democratic Party itself idolizes authoritative authority — a one-party state, if you will — with Democrats in power and the rest of us strictly complying to their top-down rule.
Veteran journalist Brit Hume highlighted a Wall Street Journal opinion piece titled, “Biden’s Speech Had It All Backward,” on Monday. American essayist and writer Lance Morrow made a compelling case that “Biden’s Dems pursue a one-party state while Trump’s supporters want freedom from the government power.”
Biden demonstrated in a single sentence what Republicans have long known about Democrats: the left sees entrepreneurship and free markets as the wicked source of America’s ills, while government control over Americans and their lives as the miraculous cure-all. This is despite the fact that Biden’s mental health has been slowly deteriorating.
