Polling by the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) this week found that Americans’ opinion of President Biden is at its lowest level in four years. This comes as the troubled senior seeks a second term in office.
American public opinion of Biden is very negative, with only 37% liking him and 60% not liking him. This is the worst negative opinion about him since 2019! The survey found that Biden’s favorability rate dropped from 42% in October 2019 to 39% during the 2020 election cycle. After he took office, 55% of people liked him the most.
The study found that eighty percent of Democrats like the president. Only thirty-two percent of the eighty percent who think well of Biden think highly of him. Three out of ten independents (30%) and six percent of Republicans like Joe Biden.
Pew Research indicates that the 81-year-old’s current approval rating among Democrats (80%) is just slightly lower than that of former President Barack Obama (81%). But in December 2016, Americans’ overall opinion of Obama was 64 percent favorable—a 27-point difference.
With a 2.1-point margin of error, the study asked 2,525 Americans between August 25th and 30th. The Open Society Foundations, a grant-giving network started by far-left wealthy activist and business magnate George Soros, gave “generous support” to PRRI to run the poll.
During this poll, Biden is going through a rough patch with a string of losses and problems. During his time in office, the country saw the deadly exit from Afghanistan, gas prices go through the roof, Russia attacked Ukraine, and Hamas terrorized Israeli civilians while migrants came across the southern border of the United States.
Biden along with his family’s business dealings are arguably the biggest controversy involving them.
This week, James Comer (R-KY), the head of the House Oversight Committee, showed that his family’s business is directly connected to Joe Biden.
House Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) informed Breitbart News this week that “we have now obtained direct proof of money laundering. It turned out to be a $200,000 check that Jim Biden personally wrote to Joe Biden on the very same day in which Jim Biden was given a $200,000 payout from an overseas investment.”
